May of this year was Mother's Day Month. I'd like to share something about our superwoman, our pillar, our Mama Connie.
She's the epitome of passion and hard work for giving us the most outstanding variety of TLC a mom could ever offer. She showed us that being a good mom is not about having it all together. All moms struggle, get tired, and sometimes she doesn't have all the answers. And my Mama said, "Being the best mom is about showing up, never hold back to any challenges and try to do the best you know for your family."
Just like Maine Mendoza, she proved to us over the years that being a celebrity, doing businesses, and other stuff won't hinder us in bagging a quality work-life balance.

Learning new things every day is what gives me tremendous motivation to work hard. Thus, learning is a process that should never stop, they say.
As an employee in the sales and marketing industry, there is a high degree of competition, especially during these trying times. I just reminded myself to be ready to strive for progress while reinventing my core to be better and productive. It also increases my confidence and has given me the source of an urge to work hard and do more.
In addition, the love and support I am receiving from my family gave me the drive to make sure I hit my deadlines with the quality of work on top of it. I saw my parents' commitment to working and running our family farm, and it made me realize to always look up to them and be like them. Seeing them being self-motivated individuals strengthens me to look into the positive side of life even though sometimes, life may be challenging.
Just like Maine Mendoza and our 51Talk teachers, they are hardworking individuals and are very passionate about everything they do.
Inspired by Maine Mendoza's story, who do you idolize that epitomizes the passion and hard work and why?
Well, to answer that, there's a person I have in mind whom I look up to, whom I celebrate with every hurdle and challenge she passed, every small win she made, and a lot more. I call her "Mami Mayo". May Ann Macanoquit Olmilla, the person on the photo above.
Aside from taking care of her family, Mami Mayo represents the epitome of passion and hard work. Why? Because from being a former bank employee to joining the insurance selling industry and just recently, she opened her Milk Tea shop back in her humble hometown. That's a lot of work, right? Undeniably, she's driven on doing these things she loves because this is for the people she's doing it for.
Working moms like Mami Mayo are incredibly brave and unmatched despite the challenges of balancing work demands and the demands of her home life. It is unimaginable to be a super-employee and a super-mommy at the same time but Mami Mayo effortlessly did it anyway. Kudos Mami!
Just like Maine Mendoza and our passionate 51Talk teachers, these people are amazing and worthy to be appreciated and I am lucky enough to know Mami Mayo for being one of them.
