Manila, Philippines, August 20, 2026 – Global AI device provider HONOR Philippines brought the HONOR Magic V6 to center court as the official presenter of Gentry Open 2026, marking another year of partnership with the tournament and its commitment to supporting the growth of tennis in the Philippines.

Now in its second year, Gentry Open is a Class 1 tennis tournament that provides aspiring professional players from across the country with an opportunity to compete at a high level. Held at the CSA Tennis Stadium from August 19 to 30, the tournament brings together the country’s rising tennis talents. It creates a platform for the next generation of athletes to develop their skills and pursue their professional aspirations.

The partnership came to life during the Gentry Open 2026 opening ceremony on August 20, where HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng joined Gentry Open representatives and the Pareng Crew. With a ceremonial serve by Pareng Hayb and the HONOR Magic V6 taking center stage as the tournament’s presenter, the opening highlighted the shared values of performance, discipline, and innovation while bringing HONOR closer to Gentry Open’s premium sports audience and the next generation of Filipino tennis talent.

As part of the opening-day activities, the Pareng Crew got hands-on with the HONOR Magic V6, putting the flagship foldable through a special Pull Up exhibition. The durability showcase highlighted the device’s ability to keep up with demanding, fast-moving lifestyles, while giving attendees a closer look at the innovation behind HONOR’s latest foldable.
